Mariya Mincheva has worked at BIA since 2006, as part of the Legal Department. Since 2018, she has held the position of Director in the Legal Department, since 1 November 2020 she is Vice President of the BIA, and on 1 November 2023 she was elected as a member of the Board of the Association.

She graduated in "Law" from the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and "International Relations", Master's program "Law of the European Union" at the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", in partnership with the University of Nancy 2 (France).

Mariya Mincheva is a member of Group I - Employers and the Commission for International Cooperation and European Integration of the Economic and Social Council of the Republic of Bulgaria.

She represents BIA (as a member of BusinessEurope) in the Social Dialogue Committee in Brussels, which is the main body for social dialogue at European level.

As Vice President of BIA, she monitors and coordinates the activities of the Association related to the protection of employers' interests, the promotion of entrepreneurship and foreign economic cooperation. She participates in the work of the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation (NCTC) and coordinates the participation of BIA representatives in the national system for tripartite cooperation. Responsible for the organisation and coordination of BIA's participation and activities in international organisations (BusinessEurope, International Organisation of Employers, International Labour Organisation, etc.), contacts with representatives of the European Parliament and the EC Representation in Bulgaria.
