The publishing house is named after Bozhidar Danev in honor of the longtime chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce, who dedicated 25 years of his life (1993-2018) to the construction, development and establishment of the Chamber as a leading employer organization in Bulgaria and for the establishment and maintenance of its international prestige.

Emphasis in the work of the publishing house is placed on two main thematic areas:

Economy and social development - from the point of view of the specifics of BIA as a business union with a long-term presence in the public space through its analytical, prognostic and often missionary-educational activity;
Bulgarian culture and art - in view of the specific interests of Bozhidar Danev to the work of the galaxy of contemporary artists and sculptors.
