Yaroslav Donchev was born and grew up in Sevlievo. He has a master's degree from the Technical University - Gabrovo. In 1999, he joined the financial team of "Vidima" AD. In 2001, he held the position of financial director of "Ideal Standard" - Poland, and in 2008 he became the financial director for Eastern Europe. Since August 2012, he has been the deputy chairman of the Board of Directors of the already united company "Ideal Standard - Vidima" JSC.
On May 1, 2016, Yaroslav Donchev was elected as Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ideal Standard - Vidima AD and Financial Director of the Company. In January 2019, he also assumed the position of Eastern Europe Cluster Director for Ideal Standard International.
Since 2021, he has been promoted to the position of "Vice President Commercial Activity and Outsourced Services" of "Ideal Standard International", while at the same time continuing to be the executive director of "Ideal Standard - Vidima" JSC and chairman of the company's Board of Directors.
By decision of the Municipal Council from 2018, Yaroslav Donchev was awarded an honorary badge of the city of Sevlievo for long-term charitable and sponsoring activity of "Ideal Standard - Vidima". Along with professional growth, for Yaroslav Donchev, activities related to corporate social responsibility towards the public in Sevlievo are of high priority. One of the biggest achievements is related to the improvement of conditions in regional and municipal hospitals, the development of education, art, sports in the local community, with which the company improves the standard of living in the region.
Yaroslav Donchev is married, with one child.
He speaks English, Russian and Polish.
