Spiros Nomikos is the CEO of Solvay Sodi JSC - Devnya and General Manager of Solvay Group for Bulgaria since 2012.
He was born in 1961. He graduated from Solvay University Business School, Brussels, with a technical profile and a first degree in Finance.
He started his professional career as project manager for finance and development at Josie Insurance Company in Brussels.
Since 1989, he has worked in finance for the Solvay Group - in Brussels and Barcelona.
In 2000-2005 he was Finance Director at Solvay Sodi and CEO of Solvay Bulgaria and Devnya Limestone.
From 2006 to 2012 he was Head of Business Development Minerals, Mergers & Acquisitions in Beijing, China.
Spiros Nomikos is the recipient of the 2014 Manager of the Year award.
As Solvay's General Manager for Bulgaria, Nomikos was honored as a "UN Sustainable Development Goals Pioneer" in the Large National and Multinational Companies category at a prestigious ceremony held on September 19, 2023 at the Leaders’ Summit in New York.
He speaks French, English, Spanish, Greek, Bulgarian and Dutch.
