Member of the Managing Board
Yavor Zhekov was born on April 26, 1979.
He has a bachelor's degree in "Finance" from Burgas Free University; he also graduated from the Berlin University of Technology and Economics with a degree in "International Management" and "Management of Small and Medium Enterprises".
From 2002 to 2006, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Bulgarian-German student organization "Hushov", Berlin, Germany; during this period, he was also a playing coach and captain of FC "NORD OST II" in the 5th German Division.
After returning to Bulgaria in the period 2008-2010, he worked at "EKOTOY" OOD - a member of the ADCO GROUP, as a regional manager and head of NATO exercises in Bulgaria.
From 2010 to the present, Yavor Zhekov is the manager and owner of two companies:
- "Lilia - M" EOOD, Burgas: Pallet farm - production of wooden packaging, racks and pallets; WORDS language center, licensed by NAPOO - foreign language training; Tourism - family hotel in Sozopol;
- "Dialog 359" EOOD, engaged in language holidays abroad.
From 2013 to the present, he is also the manager of Abanos Ltd., engaged in renting warehouse space, a carpentry workshop and wholesale trade.
Yavor Zhekov also works in Bulgaria in support of football: from 2010 to the present, he is in FC "WORDS", Burgas; and in the period 2014 - 2021 he was the president and member of the Board of Directors of FC "Chernomorets 1919 Burgas" - Third League.
Since 2010, he has been a member of Regional Industrial Association - Burgas and actively participates in the association's initiatives and events.
