Prof. Dr. Eng. Todorov is the Chairman of the General Assembly of the Technical University of Sofia. Graduate of TU-Sofia, with master's degrees in mechanical engineering and applied mathematics; specialized in Great Britain and Japan. In 1998 he received his PhD, in 2002 - Associate Professor, since 2011 - Professor, and since 2019 - Doctor of Science.
From 2008 to 2010 he was the Deputy Dean and from 2010 to 2019 the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology of the Technical University.
From 2019 to 2022, he is the Deputy Dean for Research and International Integration of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology.
Since 2022 he is Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology. Head of the Centre of Excellence at TU-Sofia.
Prof. Dr. Eng. has been a guest lecturer at Andres Bello National University - Santiago, Chile and at Harbin University of Science and Technology in China.
He has dozens of scientific publications in refereed journals at home and abroad; 7 international patents and utility models and 19 registered in Bulgaria.
He speaks English, German and Russian.
