Teodora is a result-driven business development professional with a notable track record of establishing international partnerships, initiating joint projects and initiatives across multiple geographic regions including – Balkans, Black Sea Basin, Western Europe, Russia, and UAE. Currently based in Bulgaria, Teodora has been working for 15 years in the United Kingdom, where she operated in a multitude of industries including real estate, tourism, and events for both B2B and B2C audiences.
In addition to her international practice, since 2017 Teodora works in the direction of attracting and organising international events in Bulgaria. Following the successful bidding process, external communication, as well as local contacts with stakeholders, she became the conference director and organiser of the TCI Network European Conference in Sofia, March 2018. A year later, in 2019, Ms. Jilkova led the organisation of the national cluster conference on behalf of the Association of Business Clusters in Bulgaria. At the beginning of 2020, another important international event, initiated and managed by Teodora, was held in Varna, Bulgaria – The Black Sea & Balkans Conference World Summit 2020. Since December 2019 she holds the position of Executive Director of the Bulgarian Convention Bureau.
