Dr. Ventsislav Slavkov is founder and general manager of 'Spesima' Ltd. Since 1989. He is Chairman of the Board of the Cluster "Mechatronics and Automation". He is a member of the Board of BIA since 2014. The company’s main business activity is development and implementation of specialized automation systems for the industrial production. Since 1998, 49% of 'Spesima' are owned by the german Frech Group - one of the largest companies in the world, specialized in production of machines for horizontal casting of aluminium alloys under high pressure. By its German partners the Bulgarian company sells robots in over 30 countries over three continents. The company cooperates closely with specialists from Technical University - Sofia and BAS institutes. Students and interns are regularly trained in 'Spesima ' Ltd., where they can prepare their projects and theses. Ventsislav Slavkov has graduated Technical University in Sofia and has two Master's degrees - "Internal Combustion Engines" and "Mechanical systems in robotics." He has a degree in "Engineering Journalism" from Sofia University. He completed a number of specializations in robotics in Kazakhstan, Germany, Belgium and others.
