Labour market advisor
Asen Angelov, PhD
Graduated from University of National and World Economy – Sofia, New Bulgarian University – Sofia, „D. A. Tsenov“ Academy of Economics – Svishtov. Asen Angelov acquired his qualifications through trainings in many national, European and international institutions such as the European Training Center in Brussels, OLAF, International Labor Office, the United Nations Development Program, etc. He has specialized in financial management and analysis at the University of Delaware, USA.
Between 2005 and 2008 Mr. Angelov works at the National Employment Agency as a Head of the Pre-Accession Funds Sector and Head of Programmes and Projects Department. Between 2013 and 2015 he is the Executive Director of the Employment Agency.
He has worked as advisor at the 40th National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria in the field of synchronization and adaptation of Bulgarian legislation to the European directives and the European integration processes. Currently, Mr. Angelov is an advisor at the standing Committee on Labor, Social and Demographic Policy of the National Assembly.
Since 2009 he runs his own consultancy and investment companies in the sector of economic and financial analysis, preparation and implementation of investment, social and sectoral projects with external financing, financial instruments and real estate investments management, organizational consulting and human resources management.
Currently, Asen Angelov is Labour market advisor at the Bulgarian Industrial Association – Union of the Bulgarian Business.
