IVAN KOSTOV

Ivan Kostov holds a MA in Pedagogy from the National Sports Academy – Military Faculty and an additional qualification of “Manager Economist” and “Occupational Health and Safety Expert”.

He has been working as an Administrative Director at BIA since 1997.

Mr. Kostov is a co-founder and member of the Managing Board of the Electric vehicles industrial cluster (EVIC), chairman of Technical Committee 80 (Electronic data interchange for administration, commerce and transport) with Bulgarian Institute for Standardization (BDS), chairman of 2004 Team school board at the Sofia Vocational High School of Tourism, member of the Managing Board of BG Consumer Association and an honourable member of the association Youth Institute for European Values. 

Ivan Kostov is well experienced in managing EU and internationally funded projects, including ones under Competitiveness Operational Programme, the World Bank’s Project “A market for ideas – Bulgaria 2007”, “Labour Market Active Services” by the Ministry of Labour Market and Social Policy, the communication strategy for Bulgaria’s accession to the EU, PHARE programme etc.  

Ivan Kostov is married and has two sons.
