President
Vladislav Lazarov was born in 1978. He has a master's degree in law from Plovdiv University, in "National Security and Defense" at the Military Academy "G. S. Rakovski" and a master's degree in "Economic Management" at the Technical University - Sofia.
He defended his doctoral dissertation in 2009 at the Academy of the Ministry of the Interior. He obtained the scientific degree "Doctor of Sciences" in 2016 at the University of Library Science and Information Technology. Since 2021, he is an associate professor in the Department of National Security, Faculty of Information Sciences of UniBIT.
He was a parliamentary secretary of the Ministry of the Interior, an assistant in committees of the National Assembly. Since 2021, he has been a member of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria. Since the same year, he has been a member of the Federation of Scientific and Technical Unions, in the scientific and technical section "Mechanical Engineering".
Vladislav Lazarov has managerial experience and expertise in working and partnering with organizations and enterprises in the field of social entrepreneurship. He has been working in the TPK system since June 2000. Since 2006, he has been performing the function of parliamentary secretary of the National Assembly of the TPK. In December 2021, he was elected chairman of the Board of the restored City Union of TPK-Sofia. In April 2022, he was elected as the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of the TPK, and in November 2023 - as the Chairman of the National Assembly of the National People's Congress.
