DELEGATION OF MEDEF35 VISITS BIA
Representatives of Medef35, the regional structure of the largest employers' organization in France, MEDEF, visited BIA. The meeting was attended by Mr. Jean-Yves Gautier, Vice-President in charge of International Relations, and Mrs. Nathalie Potin, Head of Communications, Relations with Members and International Relations, BIA Vice-Presidents Mariya Mincheva and Stanislav Popdonchev and Hristina Kasparyan, director of the International Economic Relations Center.
Medef35 is one of the 99 regional divisions of the French employers' organization - BIA's partner within BusinessEurope, and represents the interests of over 700 individual members and 20 federations from the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region of northwestern France with a population of 1 .5 million people and the administrative center city of Rennes. The organization unites companies in a wide range of economic sectors, including chemical industry, logistics, textile production, plastics, auto parts, food industry, robotics, services, etc.
The visit took place on the eve of the 43rd anniversary of BIA’s establishment and aims to present the possible joint activities and exchange of good practices between Bulgarian and French companies.
"The French know Bulgaria, mainly because of the opportunities for tourism. We want our members to get to know the country from an economic point of view, to show not only the traditional sectors of your economy, but also the developing industries. Good business happens when we know the person we are working with - their history, culture, mentality," said Mrs Potin.
The management of the BIA presented the history, structure and activity of the Association and stated readiness to implement joint projects in the spirit of the good partnership relations between the two organizations, which date back to 1994.
