The challenges before the implementation of the Framework Agreement of the European Social Partners on Digitalisation were discussed live and online by representatives of the Bulgarian social partners, during the first information day of the TransFormWork project, on 15.02.2022.

Representatives of the Bulgarian Industrial Association, branch organizations and enterprises - members of BIA, representatives of CITUB and trade union leaders, exports from the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy (MLSP) and the Executive Agency "General Labor Inspectorate" (EA GLI).

The agreement was presented by Maria Mincheva, Vice President and Representative of BIA (as a member of BusinessEurope) in the Social Dialogue Committee in Brussels, which is the main body for social dialogue at European level.

At its core, the document supports the successful integration of digital technologies in the workplace, investment in digital skills, skills upgrading and the continued efficiency of the workforce. The agreement focuses on the ability of employers and trade unions to implement digital transformation strategies in a human-centered approach at national, sectoral and company levels, including on the conditions for connecting and disconnecting and complying with working time rules and appropriate compliance measures.

The whole research and the presentations from the information day will be uploaded on the project website: www.transformwork.eu
