Today, 27.04.2023, a meeting was held at BIA between the President of the Board Dobri Mitrev, the Vice President Stanislav Popdonchev, the Senior Director of the International Economic Relations Center at BIA Christina Kasparyan, and the President of the American Bulgarian Business Association (ABBA) Sevdalin Spasov, the executive director Rumyana Yordanova and Nevena Davidova - member of the association's board.

ABBA's mission is to help small and medium-sized businesses develop sustainably and successfully on the Bulgarian and American markets by providing valuable information, access to business practices and a professional network of contacts and resources to facilitate activity. The ultimate goal is to create a working and bright platform for the development of entrepreneurship from Bulgaria in the USA and from the USA in Bulgaria.

Behind the initiative are people with extensive professional experience such as Eliz Nestorova, Sevdalin Spasov, Rumyana Yordanova, Dobrina Ustun, Alex Nestor and others. All of them are connected to Bulgaria and the USA, they have gone through the long and complicated path of administration, logistics, the search for customers, workforce, etc. They are ready to share their life and professional experience by "giving a hand" both to those who want to look for business development beyond the Ocean, and to those who have already accumulated capital and want to invest it in Bulgaria.

BIA expressed its willingness to cooperate and undertook a survey among the companies that are members of the Association about their interest in the US markets. As a result of the study, a meeting will be organized between the entrepreneurs and experts from ABBA, who will answer in detail the questions related to doing sustainable business between the two countries.
