In connection with the memorandum of cooperation of February 10, 2021, between BIA and the Ministry of Environment and Water and the work meeting held on May 26, 2021, between representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Water and BIA, on the topic of the caregiver government and improving the business environment, BIA is pleased to announce the start of the following procedures:
- Regarding the National Waste Information System (NISO): Starting June 28 - July 8, 2021, the EEA will conduct training for external users, and the deadline for submitting the annual reports through NISO for the reporting year 2020 now extends to September 1, 2021.
- Regarding the submission of the draft amendment to Ordinance №1 / 04.06.2014 on the procedure and templates for providing information on waste activities, as well as the process for keeping public registers for consideration and adoption by the Council of Ministers: Draft R&D of Ordinance №1 / 04.06.2014 was announced for public consultation.
- Regarding the transposition into national legislation of Directive (EU) 2019/904 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 5, 2019, on reducing the impact of certain plastic products on the environment: BIA hosted a workshop with representatives of the MoEW, where they presented and discussed the Directive. Public coordination of an Ordinance for reducing the impact of certain plastic products on the environment is forthcoming.
- Regarding the notification procedure for the export of non-hazardous waste: The delay in issuing notifications has been eliminated.
