AOBE CALLS FOR MEASURES TO SUPPORT DUAL TRAINING
The Association of the Organizations of Bulgarian Employers (AOBE) sent a letter to the Minister of Finance Asen Vasilev regarding measures needed to support dual education and training.
In recent years, serious efforts have been made to introduce quality dual training in Bulgaria, which is in line with the intentions of the state and the social partners to provide a qualified workforce for the relevant professions. Serious efforts and resources are allocated both by the Bulgarian state and by Bulgaria's EU partners - such as Germany, Switzerland, etc. to implement the leading achievements in this type of training.
AOBE considers it necessary to provide funds for the state to cover the costs of social security contributions due by the employer, which will eliminate the disparities identified to an extent that will not discourage the implementation of dual training.
