BIA AND THE INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF EMPLOYERS ORGANIZED A DISCUSSION ON THE “COLLECTIVE LABOUR BARGAINING AT BRANCH LEVEL” IN PLOVDIV ON 1 A

The Bulgarian Industrial Association and the International Organization of Employers organized a Discussion on the “Collective Labour Bargaining at Branch Level” in Plovdiv on 1 and 2 February 2006

Within a joint project for the development of the employers’ organizations in South Eastern Europe, the International Organization of Employers (IOE) and the Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA) organized an international forum on the “Collective Labour Bargaining at Branch  Level” in Plovdiv on 1 and 2 February 2006.

Foreign experts, representatives of the French and Swiss employers as well as of some other European sector organizations explored topics related to the social dialogue and the problems the employers face on branch level in the collective labour bargaining in France and Switzerland.

A number of representatives of Bulgarian Branch associations and chambers attended the forum where they presented their problems in the collective bargaining process in sectors like the electrical engineering, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy and transport.
