BUDGET COMMISSION EXTENDS EXTENSION OF BUDGET 2021 UNTIL END OF MARCH

The deputies from the Committee on Budget and Finance considered and adopted at first reading the bill for extension until 31 March of the Law on the State Budget for 2021 and the budgets of the Health Insurance Fund and the state social insurance. The budget for 2022 must be submitted by 31 January, said Deputy Finance Minister Rositsa Velkova.

Earlier today, the Committee on Labor and Social Policy approved an extension of the 2021 Budget until the end of March. The vote is needed because this year's budget was not adopted last year.
