As of today, the Employment Agency starts "Work in BG tourism" - a national campaign in support of the tourism industry. From June 7th, 2021 to June 11th, 2021, all labor offices in the country plan to hold open meetings for employers in the tourism sector, and potential employees. The campaign will enable businesses to select among pre-informed candidates from across the country. The aim is to provide staff for the proper functioning of the industry for the beginning of the season. Rapid and operational support is expected to facilitate a sufficient workforce after the COVID-19 restrictions.

Employers willing to take part in the initiative can apply by declaring their vacant positions. The Agency notes that participants can send their applications via the electronic service of the Unified Portal for Electronic Services of DAEU, as well as through the System for secure electronic service (SSEV), by e-mail, through a licensed postal operator, or apply in person at the employment offices. The candidates will then receive the offers. We advise employers to submit their applications by June 4th, 2021 and fill in thoroughly their requirements and working conditions.

The registered unemployed, as well as other job seekers in tourism, will be notified of the campaign and will be invited to participate in meetings with employers.

From June 7th - June 11th, from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm every weekday, job seekers and employers from the industry will be able to meet in person or receive comprehensive information about the requirements and job opportunities. Experts from the labor office will assist the business representatives and job seekers with information on the current financial incentives which can support them in their further development.

The Employment Agency will publish the schedule of the forthcoming events, as well as other details on the campaign "Work in BG Tourism".
