BULGARIA IS AMONG FIRST IN EU FOR PEOPLE EMPLOYED IN HIGH-TECH
According to Eurostat data, in 2012 more than 73million people in the EU have been employed in the sphere of high technologies at the level of experts, technicians and at the level of scientists and engineers. In the number of experts and technicians Bulgaria stands third, together with Ireland with 66.5 percent, after Romania (68 percent) and Lithuania (67.7 percent). For the number employment of women in the sphere of science and technologies, Bulgaria is again third with 63.8 percent, after Lithuania (68.3 percent) and Estonia (63.9 percent).
