BIA involved three projects under the project "Intelligent Energy - Europe", launched in 2011 and implemented in partnership with Italy, Austria, Bulgaria, Germany and Slovakia.
GBE-FACTORY project is aimed at promoting and developing initiatives, organizations and investments to improve the use of renewable energy sources in industrial and commercial buildings, systems and facilities to create enterprises that consume and / or produce green and blue energy.
The project is promoting the concept of using cogeneration of electricity and heat, ventilation and energy. GBE FACTORY project tries to find the transition from old-style fuel systems to second generation commercial and industrial buildings, create businesses that are energy independent industrial or commercial buildings /warehouses to reduce emissions to zero. The project is also aimed at existing facilities to produce renewable energy that can share renewable electricity and heat.
During the project will be collected examples of good practice in enterprises of countries - partners and the most attractive business models with the most advanced solutions / technologies for renewable energy will become "DEMO companies" on the European market.
BIA has already provided 3 examples of Bulgarian companies, which hope to join the European manual of best practices developed under the project.
Next month representatives of the BIA, Branimir Handjiev (Chief of BIA and project coordinator) and Dimitar Baev (expert on the project) will participate in a meeting of all partners to be held in Verona, Italy. At a meeting in Italy will discuss the program of activities for 2012, identifying business models and best practices, conductingmarket analysis, development of website and others.
