The Managing Board of the Bulgarian Petroleum and Gas Association has elected as its chairman with a two-year term of office, Jivord Terziev.
He takes over the position after Valentin Zlatev's second term of office has ended.
Jivodar Terziev is a manager and a partner in the company for trade with petroleum products “ZARA-E” Ltd., a company created with entirely Bulgarian capital. He has been working in the structures of the company since 1996. Terziev is a proven expert in the branch, with deep knowledge of the specifics of the Bulgarian market and expertise in the sphere of economy.
Before the Managing Board, the new chairman has confirmed his commitment to work for the establishment of the Bulgarian Petroleum and Gas Association as the most authoritative branch association in the sector of production and trade with liquid fuels.
“The Association will firmly follow its mission to fight the gray sector and unfair practices, to establish a clear and transparent competitive environment and equality before the law of all market participants,” Terziev said after the meeting of the Managing Board.
“The member companies of BPGA once again proved that they are not divided by size or location. The Association consists of companies with a major contribution to the state treasury and investments in the country. The members of BPGA are fully aware of their public responsibility and duty towards their clients”, Terziev said after his election.
