The stage of transposition of the European Directives on the environment Directive (EU) 2019/904 of the European Parliament and of the Council on reducing the environmental impact of certain plastic products - EU ban on single-use plastic products whenever alternatives are available. How will companies align with the regulations that came into force last year? What steps should be taken this year?DIRECTIVE (EU) 2018/852 amending Directive 94/62 / EC on packaging and packaging waste - eco-design of packaging. Prevent the production of packaging waste and promote the reuse, recycling and other forms of recovery of packaging waste instead of its final disposal, thus contributing to the transition to a circular economy. What is the stage of their transposition? Do other Directives need to be implemented in the future?

Depozit Return System(DRS) in Bulgaria Deposit-return systems can be the most effective choice against environmental pollution and for material recovery. It achieves higher rates that any other system of oseparate collection of raw materials (90% on average, up to 97% in some countries like Germany or Norway). Because of that deposit-return systems are currently in high focus in Europe.Norvegia, Lithuania, Germany, Sweeden have introduced a deposit system for single-use bottles. Other European countries are already taking steps to introduce such a system, including în France and Romania, the introduction is being discussed. Trough 2019 EU Directive on Single Use Plastic the EU has also made a significant push towards the introduction of the DRS system in many European countries. When will the SGR start in Bulgaria? How will the awareness campaign be conducted in terms of selective collection? How will the system be promoted and who will be involved? How can producers and retailers collaborate in order to find the most efficient way of implementing the DRS system in Bulgaria? What funds will the state allocate for this system and when is the Ministry of Environment planning to start  to take actions towards it?

Waste collection and recycling How will the targets be met this year? What is the opinion of the business environment? What further action can the authorities take? The responsibility of the Bulgarian companies, of the population, of the associations of tenants / owners? How to raise awareness among companies and the public? What is the extended liability of the producer in the field of waste management? What can recycling and waste management companies do? What about local authorities? Introducing effective incentives for citizens to separate waste, including for example pay-as-you-throw schemesWhat is the role of apps and technology in general for greater transparency?

Energy for a greener country How can energy be a drive to a more friendly environment in Bulgaria? What are the state programs for that? What did the companies invest for greener future
