The World Bank, Open Society Institute - Sofia and the Bulgarian Industrial Association – Union of the Bulgarian Business organize a Round Table Discussion on Regional Labour Market – Current State and Issues, Challenges to Human Capital Development.

The event will be held on November 12, 2015 (Thursday) from 9:30 am. To 13:30 pm. In the building of "Maxcom" Ltd., Plovdiv.

The forum objective is to give an overview of the Bulgarian labour market’s current state and challenges and to stir up a discussion on the possibilities to tackle skills mismatch on the labour market. The event will be attended by representatives of the World Bank, governmental institutions and bodies, HR managers of leading companies, the media, etc.

An expert from the World Bank shall present the results of analyses, based on a recent nationally-representative survey, that related labor market outcomes to skills of the Bulgarian workforce. The Bulgarian Industrial Association has rich experience in competence assessment and shall present possibilities for overcoming current skills mismatch and challenges by using a workforce competence assessment system, MyCompetence.
