THE PRESIDENT OF BIA – BOJIDAR DANEV – AND THE VICE PRESIDENT – KAMEN KOLEV – TOOK PART IN THE FIFTH EUROPEAN BUSINESS SUMMIT
Bojidar Danev and Kamen Kolev participated in the Fifth European Business Summit as representatives of the only Bulgarian employers’ organization member of BUSINESSEUROPE.
The Fifth European Business Summit was organized by BUSINESSEUROPE and the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium (FEB) and was held on 15 and 16 March 2007 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome. Theme was “Reform to Perform: Europe is our Business”. During four Plenary Sessions and twelve workshops, about one hundred top speakers addressed key issues for business in Europe. Many leading figures from the European business community and the European Commission, as well as prime ministers, senior ministers and other high-level representatives from EU member states attended the event. Key elements in the discussions were: energy, better regulation, research, CSR, demography, globalisation and education.
