THE AI IN MENTORING PARTNERSHIP HELD ITS INTERNATIONAL TRAINING EVENT FOR TRAINERS OF MENTORS

The Bulgarian Industrial Association, as project coordinator, and the Modern Education Foundation organized the training of trainers on 18–19 June 2025 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The project funded by the Erasmus+ programme gathered together 3 national teams of trainers of mentors from Belgium, Bulgaria and Spain. The event focused on a special training programme for the application of the artificial intelligence in the apprenticeship mentoring that will help both company mentors and trainers themselves.

The project partnership has been working on developing a training approach helping company mentors use the AI tools in their daily work with apprentices and the training held in Sofia turned the work done so far into action. Besides, the introduction to AI and the prompt engineering, the training dwelled upon the mentoring phases (preparation, induction, implementation, evaluation) and offered space for group work, exchange of roles and other useful tips for the trainers of mentors.
