PETAR STOYANOV IS THE NEW CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF ABTTA

Petar Stoyanov was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Bulgarian Tour Operators and Travel Agents (ABTA) at the General Accountability and Election Meeting on Tuesday, 25.02.2025. He takes over after two successful terms of office of the current Chairman Dimitrina Goranova. This is the maximum term that, according to the Statute of the ABTA, the Chairman can hold this position.

The seven-member Board of Directors has re-elected its current members Dimitrina Goranova, Happy Tour; Emil Abazov, Premio Travel; Daniela Nakova, Tempora Travel and Viliya Zhelyazkova, Vastels, who ensure continuity in the work. New additions to the Board of Directors, in addition to Petar Stoyanov, who is the General Manager of Luxutur, are Rumen Dikanchev, Pro Top Tour and Gabriela Kaneva, Ulpia Tours.

The former Deputy Chairwoman of ABTTA, Daniela Stoeva, after ten years of participation in the governing bodies of the association, is stepping down from the board of directors, but will continue to represent the organization in the European Committee of Associations of Tour Operators and Travel Agents (ECTAA), where she is a member of the Board of Directors. With her experience, she will continue to defend the interests of ABTTA members and Bulgarian tour operators in general before European institutions for the adoption of balanced and fair decisions that take into account the interests of all parties.
