BULGARIA WON A MEDAL AT THE INTERNATIONAL ROBOTICS OLYMPIAD IRO 2024/2025
The teams of the “Alexander Georgiev-Kodjakafaliyata” Primary School and the Vocational High School of Computer Programming and Innovation represented Bulgaria at the International Robotics Olympiad IRO 2024/2025 in South Korea. The students from Burgas Anislava Kasarova, Bozhidar Kirov, Ralitsa Stamatova and Simeon Marinov competed for five days in a competitive competition with 1717 teams from 23 countries.
The team of Anislava Kasarova and Ralitsa Stamatova won a bronze medal in the Creative Idea category, and Bozhidar Kirov and Simeon Marinov defended their project before the jury in the Creative Technic category.

The International Robotics Olympiad has been held since 1999 under the motto “Create Experience, Experience Creativity”. An annual international youth robotics competition held by various member countries helps to foster scientific thinking and curiosity. The initiative focuses on nurturing potential leaders to improve the technologies of the future.
