On the occasion of the recent publication of "BusinessEurope views on digital trade", BusinessEurope is organising an event on digital protectionism. The discussion will focus on the trends in digital protectionism, including limitations on cross-border data flows, data localisation, forced transfers of technology and other forms of discrimination; the challenges that companies face in this respect; and ways to address them at the EU level, through digital trade agreements and chapters, but also at the multilateral level.
