IVAN VELKOV WAS REELECTED AS CHAIRMAN OF BGFMA

At the Annual General Assembly held yesterday, the Bulgarian Facility Management Association (BGFMA) elected a new Management Board with a mandate 2019-2020, comprising Ivan Velkov, Anna Duneva, Bissera Peicheva, Bozhidar Zahariev, Valeri Leviev, Dimitar Georgiev, Dragomir Stefanov, Yordan Stankov and Tsveta Nanyova. Ivan Velkov was reelected as Chairman of the organization, and arch. Valeri Leviev was elected as his deputy.

The Control Board of BGFMA, consisting of three members of the Association, which are also mandated by the Management Board, will be composed of: Lilia Krasteva, Emil Atanasov and Tihomir Kralev.

The new Management Board unanimously reelected for the same term the Executive Director of the Association - Mrs. Denitsa Ilieva.

“Thanks for the trust my colleagues voted on. It is my honor and privilege to represent a truly professional and progressive branch organization with a ten-year history. With the help of my colleagues from the Management Board, we will continue to build on the main priorities of BGFMA, namely to promote and improve the success and status of the FM branch in Bulgaria, sharing good practices and examples, conducting trainings and seminars, with the growing skills and needs of the industry, increasing our membership base, intensified dialogue with institutions to improve the regulatory framework,” said Ivan Velkov.

BGFMA represents specialized companies that provide integrated and complex facility management services. Among the members of the association are also companies that provide real estate management services, as well as providers of individual professional services, university lecturers and specialists. Individuals such as administrative directors, property managers and asset managers are also an essential part of the association.
