NIKOLAY TONCHEV: PROGRESSIVE TAXATION WILL NOT LEAD TO MORE MONEY IN THE COUNTRY
"The current system of taxation is good and it stimulates the payment of taxes". Thus, the Executive Director of the Industrial Park in Shumen and Chairman of the Bulgarian Industrial Association in Shumen commented on the proposal of CITUB to introduce a tax-free minimum for the minimum wage and a 20 percent income tax over the maximum insurable income.
The proposal of the trade union is an alternative to the current flat taxation of natural persons. "Progressive taxation will not bring more money to the country," Nikolay Tonchev said.
