CONFERENCE 'WHERE DIGITAL MEETS ENERGY'
The conference will tackle issues such as ownership of data, personal data protection, cybersecurity, data as a way to break silos across national borders and sectors, cooperation between transmission system operators (TSO) and distribution system operators (DSO) fostered by digital means, data hub developments in Europe, demand response, and the market for distributed flexibilities.
The question to be answered is how active customer engagement and large-scale use of ICT tools will shape the energy system in the future, and the role of TSOs specifically. The conference will be told that the single energy market and digital single market go hand-in-hand. Elering will also launch their Estfeed smart grid platform at the conference.
The event is organised by Elering, Réseau de Transport d'Électricité (RTE) and the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E). As part of the conference, there will be a workshop on 19 September to kick off a workshop series on digitalisation and energy.
