AWARDING THE WINNERS OF THE “YOUNG INVENTOR 2016” COMPETITION

For the third year “Minu Balkanski” Foundation will give its annual awards to gifted young inventors.

The award ceremony will take place on the 17th of November (Thursday) at 16:30 in BIA’s conference hall (Sofia, 16-20 Alabin Str., 1st floor).

Welcoming speeches will be given by Assoc. Prof. Angel Angelov from the “Minu Balkanski Foundation” and Mr. Sasho Donchev - Chairman of the Managing Board of the BIA and Executive Director of “Overgas Inc.” AD.

The competition “Young Inventor” is an initiative of “Minu Balkanski” Foundation, organized with the financial support of “Overgas” and in a partnership with the Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA).

Competitors’ projects were evaluated by a jury, which included industrialists and scientists. The winners will receive tools and devices, which help with the further development of their projects.

The goal of this competition is to regenerate the interest of young people in natural science and to show how interesting and perspective it is and also - what a great career opportunity in the era of high technology and intensive communication. This competition discovers young Bulgarian talents in the field of technical and natural science and gives them the opportunity to present to the public their inventions, tools and devices.
