SEMINAR ON THE "AMENDMENTS IN THE VALUE ADDED TAX (VAT) ACT "
The Bulgarian Industrial Association and the National Revenue Agency, “Tax and Social Security Methodology” Directorate, organize a seminar on “Amendments in the Value Added Tax (VAT) Act – Topical Questions”.
Special emphasis shall be laid on the amendments in transactions within countries other than the EU Member States.
The seminar objective is to introduce the participants to the changes in the procedure of charging and reimbursing VAT on transactions within countries outside the European Union and the implementation of Directive 2008/8/EC on VAT in the Bulgarian legislation.
Council Directive 2008/8/EC amends Directive 2006/112/EC as regards the place of supply of services. The legislation allows for reverse tax liability (reverse charging of VAT) to take place under certain circumstances.
