“ELECTRONIC INVOICING IN EUROPE” CONFERENCE
Expert groups report on electronic invoicing states that the electronic invoice will be a preferable way of invoicing in 5 to 8 years. This type of invoicing is at a “public discussion” stage in the European Commission. After the report the Commission, along with the Spanish presidency of the Community, decided to hold a conference entitled “Electronic Invoicing in Europe” which shall take place on 27 and 27 April 2010 in the Spanish capital, Madrid.
The discussions will provide the EC with the opportunity to gather opinions of different European economy sectors representatives. Several primary sessions have been planned, such as “Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Electronic Invoicing”, “Standards” and “Electronic Invoicing Legal Framework”.
