THE BULGARIAN INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION ORGANIZES A CONFERENCE ENTITLED “LOW CARBON ENERGY ECONOMY” ON 4 MAY 2010 AT 11:00 – 13:00

The Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism, Traicho Traikov, shall take part in the conference, as well as representatives of the institutions, organizations and companies concerned.

The discussion will put emphasis on the following topics:

• The impact of low carbon objectives on the energy prices;

• The Bulgarian energy industry perspectives for 2015 and 2020 with regard to the results of:

• The EU ETS impact on the energy production expenses;

• The impact of various ERS development on the energy production expenses, the network enhancement, the energy power system management, the maintenance and improvement of balancing capacities;

• The dynamic price structure of electric power for the period 2010-2015-2020

The forum shall be open to the media.

BIA will present an analysis on the topic during the forum. Therefore we would like to invite the media to a PRESS CONFERENCE on Monday, 3 May 2010, at 11 a.m. at BIA (16-20 Alabin Str.) During the press conference they will be introduced to the major points and recommendations in the analysis. The President of the Bulgarian Industrial Association, Bojidar Danev, will participate in the conference, as well as members of the team, who prepared the analysis.
