PUBLIC DISCUSSION OF AN ACTION PLAN TO A STRATEGIC NOISE MAP
Plovdiv Municipality shall conduct a public discussion of the Action Plan to the Strategic Noise Map of the city. The meeting is scheduled to take place on August 8th, 2010 at 14h00 at Plovdiv Municipality Conference hall.
The Action Plan was prepared as a result of the Municipal Council decision from August 2009 when a "Plovdiv Urban Agglomeration Strategic Noise Map" was adopted, executing the respective ordinances of the Noise Pollution Act. The act alone includes measures for the management, abatement, and reduction of environmental noise in Plovdiv. Plovdiv Municipality has granted public access of 30 days to the project draft, valid for the period 07 June 2010 - 07 July 2010 incl., available at the official web page of Plovdiv Municipality (www.plovdiv.bg) or at Plovdiv Municipality, Ecology and Environmental Protection Directorate, 9, Emile de Laveleye Str., every weekday from 10h00 to 16h00, announced the municipality.
Written opinions on the project can be submitted at the public discussion or within seven days from the public discussion date; these should be employed with an incoming number from Plovdiv Municipality.
