SEMINAR ON “COMMITMENTS OF THE BUSINESS WITH REGARD TO ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS – OZONE-DEPLETING SUBSTANCES, AMBIENT AIR, WASTE PRODUCTS, ECOLOGICAL

The seminar is organized to help business. It shall draw attention to the latest environmental regulations - ozone-depleting substances (ODS), ambient air, waste products, ecological damages and chemicals. The following topics shall be open to discussion: 

1. Regulation (EC) No 1005/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union of 16 September 2009 on substances that deplete the ozone layer;

 2. Clean Air Act - a draft amendment related to the implementation of Regulation (EC) No 1005/2009.

 3. Amendment to the Waste Management Act. Amendments to the licensing procedures related to waste treatment. Issuing an ordinance on the treatment of disused tires. 

 4. Introduction to the obligations of the Act on Environmental Liability with regard to the Prevention and Remedying of Environmental Damage.

 5. Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures, amending and repealing Directives 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EC, and amending Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.

 Guest lectors will be leading experts from Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water.

 The seminar shall take place in Lovech  at 9:30 a.m. at Lovech municipal hall.
