A National Council for Workforce Competence Assessment shall be set up on Tuesday, 26 October 2010, at the Bulgarian Industrial Association.


The Bulgarian Industrial Association has invited chairpersons of branch and regional business associations, members of BIA, the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Policy, the Deputy Minister of Education, Youth and Science, the President of the Confederation of Independent Syndicates in Bulgaria, the President of Podkrepa Labour Confederation and many other guests. 

The management of the National Council for Workforce Competence Assessment (NCCA) which shall be appointed during the forum will give a press conference after that at 12h30. 

NCCA will be established as part of a project implemented by BIA under Operational Programme "Human Resources Development" and shall function as the primary managing and consulting body of the National Reference Network for Workforce Competence Assessment. The Council shall serve a number of functions at national level, which will facilitate the way human resources are being managed and developed, by means of developing, applying and constantly enhancing competence models adhering to the current economic workforce requirements.
