A press conference shall be held on 15 November 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at BIA (16-20, Alabin Str., 1st Floor) which will announce the results from three surveys on the current state, problems, expectations, demands and requirements to the competence, professional qualification and educational level of the workforce in Bulgaria.


The three surveys were carried out among companies operating in the state administration and syndicate structures.

 

The research was conducted by the Bulgarian Industrial Association, in a partnership with the Confederation of the Independent Syndicates in Bulgaria and Podkrepa Labour Confederation within a project implemented by BIA under Operational Programme Human Resources Development concerning the development and implementation of an information system for workforce competence assessment by sectors and regions.  

 

The results and conclusions from the surveys shall be presented by:

 

  • Zhechko Dimitrov - Programme Director;

 

  • Dimitar Brankov - Vice President of BIA;

 

  • Tomcho Tomov - President of the Association for Human Potential Development in the Industry;

 

  • Lyuben Tomev - Director of the Institute for Social and Syndicate Research with the Confederation of the Independent Syndicates in Bulgaria;

 

  • Emil Dimitrov - Confederate Secretary of Podkrepa Labour Confederation.
