SEMINAR "THE APPLICATION OF MEASURES BY THE CUSTOMS AGENCY” FOR THE PROTECTION OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
In connection with your interest in the BIA and the Customs Agency are pleased to invite you to a seminar on "Implementation of measures by the NCA to protect intellectual property rights, which will be held on May 10, Tuesday, 13: 30 to 17:30 in the BIA, Alabin 16-20, Sofia.
Lecturers from the CCD of the NCA will acquaint participants with the basic aspects of:
- Legal basis and organization of activities on protection of intellectual property rights, trade mark, industrial designs, geographical indications;
- Forms of control and enforcement measures for the protection of Bulgarian interests;
- The most common violations by Bulgarian companies and opportunities to avoid their release;
- Management and risk analysis;
- What are the responsibilities of the Bulgarian merchant, if the product is imported from other countries, "Rotterdam effect"
To provide examples such as: import of Bulgarian (cosmetics, shoes) Marks of TurkeyExports of trucks parts Balkancar "Counterfeiting of Bulgarian cosmetics andcigarettes in Russia - a country outside the WTO, IPR control the purity of fair exhibits; Export "Feta" cheese outside the EU and others.
In order to effect optimal number of participants is limited. Registration forms will be accepted until May 5, Thursday, or until exhaustion of seats. Fee is 120lv including VAT per participant incl. materials and coffee breaks. The fee is paid within 9 May, Monday, after our confirmation of registration.
