DISCUSSION ON THE NEW LAW ON WASTE MANAGEMENT

Bulgarian Association of Recycling (BAR), Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA), Bulgarian Association of Metallurgical Industry (BAMI) and the Bulgarian Branch Chamber "Phoenix resources" organized Round Table: "The new Law on waste management - practice, problems and perspectives ".


The event will be held on July 20, 2011 at 9.00 pm in "Alexander" Hotel "Radisson Blue" Square "National Assembly" 4, Sofia.


To participate in the forum are invited MPs from all parliamentary groups in the 41 National Assembly, Parliament, representatives of industry associations from Austria, Bulgaria, representatives of national employers' organizations, the National Association of Municipalities in Bulgaria (NAMB) and others.


Will discuss relevant aspects of the Bill of waste management and will be presented the new concept of business waste management in Bulgaria related to the implementation of European standards and a series of measures leading to suspension of stolen metals.


Participants will be familiar with best European practices and, in particular - with the experience of Austria on waste management and work with the administration. The organizers' aim is to familiarize institutions in detail with potential implications for their work in the adoption of certain texts in the bill.
