NEW FORUM FOR INTERNET DOMAIN NAMES

On November 7, 2011 at 9:00 am in Grand Hotel Sofia will host forum on new Internet domains, organized by the association of UNINET and RegistarBG.
Will be attended by representatives of the organization responsible for management and allocation of domain names and IP addresses in the world - ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers), and leading Bulgarian and foreign companies in the Internet domain.
The opening of the conference will begin with a welcome by a representative of ICANN, and then will consist of an introduction program for new international organization domains. "Domain Forum" is the first event in Bulgaria related to the program for new domains.
Visitors are expected from local domain registrars, ISPs, lawyers with a focus on intellectual property, Internet users and academics. During the forum will discuss the basic program for the new ICANN domain from different perspectives, opportunities for Bulgarian participation in it, the protection of intellectual property law and the arbitration committee for domains. Bg.
Will present successful examples of domain names in Cyrillic, and examples of applications for new domains will be discussions about IPv6 technology and DNSSEC, and will discuss issues facing the new domain registrars in the field of cyber security.
