SEMINAR ON MUTUAL PROJECT BETWEEN BIA AND BUSINESSEUROPE WAS HELD IN PLOVDIV
12-13 March: In Plovdiv was held the first seminar in the frames of a mutual project of BIA and BUSINESSEUROPE, financed by EC, Program BOSMIP II.
The theme of the seminar was Structure funds of EU and the possibilities for the business organizations to participate more actively in the process of adoption of those resources. Greece and Poland representatives will share experience on the issues of improving the access to financing.
The participants in the event are sector and regional business organizations – members of BIA. Lectors of the forum are representatives of BUSINESSEUROPE and employers’ organizations from Greece and Poland, and consultant organizations from those countries. Among the lectors is Kamen Kolev – Vice President f BIA, who presented the “Structure funds in Bulgaria – the role of the business”. According to Mr. Kolev the main issues that obstruct the effective adoption of European resources in Bulgaria are: not enough expert potential, lack of good ideas and motivation for applying, lack of skills for team work, etc.
