The losses incurred by Bulgarian farmers as a result of the Russian embargo have reached 106 million euros, reports Monitor, quoting the Minister of Agriculture and Food Dessislava Taneva. Direct losses from the embargo are estimated at 10 million euros.

The rest are the result of decrease in prices of production, which is due not only to the embargo. In an interview for Monitor, Taneva explains that this country will lose between 80 million and 150 million euros under the old program for rural development. The Minister explained the delay with "burdensome procedures for public procurement."
