CCB COMMITTEE READY WITH AMENDMENTS, SAYING GOODBYE TO BANK SECRECY
The MPs from the temporary committee for clarifying the circumstances around the Corporate Commercial Bank case will introduce a joint draft bill for amendments to the Credit Institutions Act that actually envisage the dropping of bank secrecy for bankrupted banks. At the request of the chair of the Bulgarian Deposit Insurance Fund and of the finance minister the assignees of a bank in a bankruptcy procedure will have to proclaim to the public within a term of 7 days information, concerning persons and companies, as well as the size of their deposits, accounts and loans, the amendments envisage.
