The EC has approved the entering of another Bulgarian food product with good quality into the register of foods with traditionally specific character – Role Trapezica. The name of this unique Bulgarian product comes from the one of the historic Trapezica hill at the old capital town of Veliko Tarnovo. It is a pressed raw-cured meat product prepared from chilled pork, salt and natural spices. The Bulgarian delicacy will be added to the list of over 1,200 protected products.
