The Bulgarian state is about to privatize six entities next year: 50.05% of the capital of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange – Sofia, 43.7% of the Central Depository AD , 49.63% of the International Fair Plovdiv, 30 % of the Bulgarian Maritime Fleet and100% of the AudioVideo Orpheus Inc and 100% of the capital of Ovcha Kupel LTD . The latter company owns a number of properties in the country.

Generally, a total of 37 privatizations are planned for 2014 for firms with more than 50% state participation and a state estate tax assessment of over BGN 10,000.

The published plan of the Bulgarian Privatization Agency expects privatization revenues to amount to BGN 308.8 million next year.
