Fuel prices in Bulgaria headed up again after fuel distributor Lukoil Bulgaria increased wholesale tariffs, Sofia News Agency said.

The latest increase was triggered by the higher prices of crude oil, which settled at around USD 114 per barrel, up from the previous rate of less than USD 110 per barrel.

At major filling station chains in Bulgaria, gasoline A95 added BGN 0.03 to BGN 2.71-2.73 per liter, while diesel added BGN 0.05 to BGN 2.67-2.69 per liter.

According to Lukoil's website, the average price of gasoline A98-H reached BGN 2.87 per liter, while LPG settled at BGN 1.4 per liter.

This is the first increase in fuel prices in more than a month.

Prior to that, there were two drops, after which fuel prices stabilized.
