MR. BOJIDAR DANEV, BIA PRESIDENT, MET MR. SAAD HAMED TAHA, DIRECTOR OF KURDISTAN BULGARIAN FRIENDSHIP ASSOCIATION.
Mr. Bojidar Danev, BIA President, met Mr. Saad Hamed Taha, Director of Kurdistan Bulgarian Friendship Association. They discussed specific opportunities for trade and tourism between Bulgaria and Kurdistan autonomous region of Iraq.
According to Mr. Taha, Bulgarian products are well recognized and have growth potential. Recently, local government undertook measures to limit violations of IPR, which gives better chances for the sound suppliers. Local market needs foods and beverages, construction materials, machinery. There is specific demand to cigarettes and poultry products. Mr. Taha invited Bulgarian companies to participate in the local tenders.
Mr. Danev assured that BIA will handle any specific requests, which are placed in proper manner with international payment and logistics standards.
